 Objective:  Grow audience reach for our new consumerbrand, Scout.  Lead direct-to-consumeracquisition activities and marketing analytics; from creative, testing, and execution;to driving mobile advertising and direct marketing programs that drive appdownloads and acquire new users for Scout.
Overview: Telenav, a leader in personalized navigation, is seeking ahighly-accomplished, consumer-focused leader to define and drive ourAcquisition Marketing and Marketing Analytics strategy.  Ideal candidates possess unique skills indeveloping creative campaigns, testing methods, and effective acquisitionprograms.Theideal candidate must have PRIOR SUCCESS implementing Consumer-Focused,User/Customer Acquisition Strategies – having leveraged data-driven marketinganalytics to deliver effective campaigns that translate features into benefitsand downloads into dollars.We needan individual with significant Direct-to-Consumer and Data-Driven marketingexperience – and demonstrated success using SEO/SEM tools and working withagencies, advertising, marketing, and product teams to position, package, andpromote mobile-first and web-based products.We arelooking for a consumer-focused mobile marketing leader with deep understandingof consumer behavior as well as the mobile ecosystem – from apps to advertising– and how to maximize mobile marketing programs to build consumer brands anddrive audience reach.We needa highly-motivated self-starter with a track record of achievement, who thrivesin a fast-paced start-up environment. This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage brand-buildingeffort, with the reach of a widely distributed product and resources of a highlyprofitable business.
Responsibilities:·        Define,Deliver, and Drive the Acquisition Marketing strategy and execution plan·        Managethe Acquisition Marketing budget and deliver profitable programs and campaigns·        Understandcurrent users, targeted prospects, and audience segments·        Position,package, and creatively promote services to consumers via direct responseadvertising·        Leveragemobile ads, app stores, SEO/SEM, and direct marketing tools to acquire newusers·        Usedata and analytics to make informed marketing campaign decisions and optimizeresults·        Developcreative promotions that cut through the clutter and deliver reach and results·        Ownand analyze the "funnel" from acquisition to conversion·        Defineand build the right team to drive ongoing consumer awareness and useracquisition·        Collaboratewith other Marketing, Product, Sales, and Business Development teams·        Armother marketing teams with actionable data that improves marketingeffectiveness.
Requirements:·        Minimum15 years’ experience in mobile and/or web-based direct response consumermarketing·        Abilityto drive cross-functional collaboration and consensus without clear authority·        Significantexperience, proficiency in, and passion for mobile and web technologies·        Trackrecord of proactively establishing and following through on commitments·        Blendof consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and technical knowledge·        Demonstrateduse of analytics, metrics, and benchmarking to drive decisions·        Excellentinterpersonal, organizational, creative, and communications skills·        Teamplayer in driving marketing results combined with a positive attitude·        Strongwork ethic and strong core values (honesty, integrity, creativity)·        Self-motivated,results-driven, and team-oriented leader·        Demonstratedsuccess in previous roles·        Passionfor cool mobile products·        SEO/SEMexpertise·        BA/BSrequired MBA ideal
